Principal
Dr. David Bleakley
Dr. Bleakley began his career in 2003 as Social Studies teacher in the Jackson School District. Dr. Bleakley then joined the Freehold Regional High School District in 2005 as a social studies teacher at Freehold Township High School. In 2009, Dr. Bleakley moved to Freehold High School as the Supervisor of Social Studies and Classical and World Languages. Starting in 2011, he served as an assistant principal at both Freehold High School and Freehold Township High School. In 2017, he began as principal of Marlboro High School. Dr. Bleakley received his BA from Rutgers University, his MA from Georgian Court University, and his Ed.D. at Rutgers University.
As principal, Dr. Bleakley is responsible for supporting innovative programs that challenge our students to develop their capacity to excel in a global and rapidly evolving society. He is committed to creating a school community that combines a rigorous academic program with a robust extracurricular experience so that students can develop their full potential.
Dr. Bleakley and his wife, Kelsey, have a son and a daughter and currently reside in Howell.
